The

on
the

the
east
coast
of

one
mile

and
33
miles
north
of
Newcastle
upon
Tyne.
It
is
an
easily
accessible

The
village
is
surrounded
on

by
the
River
Coquet
and
is

by
Warkworth
Castle.
The
main
street
in
Warkworth
is
also
the

and
is
called
Castle
Street
–
the
castle
is
located
at

In
springtime
the
castle
is
surrounded
on
three
sides
by
a
‘host
of
golden
daffodils’ - a sight well worth seeing.
At
the
bottom
of
the
hill
lies
the
centre
of
the
village
nestled
around
the
market
place
and
church.
In
this
village
centre,
which
is
a
popular
tourist
destination
there
are
numerous
public
houses,
cafes,
restaurants,
shops
and
B&B’s
as
well
as
private
residences.
Warkworth
also
has
a
newer
residential
area
to
the

of
the
village
which
is
centred around Morwick Road.

you
have
visited
Warkworth
you
will
want
to
return
again
and
